Creating a webhook URL(s) for any of your stock broker or cryptocurrency exchange accounts connected with SignalStack enables receiving alerts from the Signal Sources. These alerts are then converted into executed orders right into the connected brokerage or cryptocurrency exchange.
In this documentation, we will explore the steps to create webhooks with SignalStack.

Step 1: Sign in to your SignalStack account and click on "Brokers & Webhooks" from the left menu.
Step 2: From the list of connected brokers, click on the "Create Webhook" button of the account for which you want to create the webhook.
Step 3: The webhook address will be generated for the account.
Paste this webhook address while configuring the alert or trading bot inside your Signal Source (TrendSpider or TradingView) and write a request in the webhook message that you want the SignalStack to perform into your brokerage account whenever an alert is triggered.
The format of the webhook message can be understood from the example request attached right below the webhook address. You can use this example request as a playground and edit it as per your requirements.
For example, you can place market and limit orders automatically by adjusting the webhook message (payload) sent to SignalStack.
Note: You can create multiple webhooks for a stock broker or cryptocurrency exchange account added to SignalStack.
