By integrating Tradovate with SignalStack, the incoming alerts from Signal Sources like TrendSpider can be automatically converted into executed orders in your Tradovate trading account without the need to code any instruction.

This documentation will explore the steps to connect Tradovate with SignalStack to enable automated trading.

Pre-requisites

  • You must have a LIVE trading account.
  • Your account balance should exceed $1,000.
  • Purchase a subscription for API Access.

Connecting Tradovate

After creating a SignalStack account or signing in to your existing account, you must select the Signal Source from where you want to capture the alerts to be converted into executed orders in your “Tradovate” trading account.

Once you have selected the Signal Source, select Tradovate from the list of brokers and exchanges to connect to SignalStack. After that, you must generate your API credentials from your Tradovate account and paste the keys into the designated field to establish the connection.

Step 1:  Click on the Continue button to proceed further.

Step 2: You will be automatically redirected to the Tradovate website. Enter your Tradovate credentials and click on the “Login” button.

Step 3: After successful authorization, your Tradovate account will be connected to the SignalStack and listed under the Brokers & Webhooks section.

Activate API Access

To activate API access, you can follow the below steps:

Step 1: Sign in to your Tradovate account and navigate to Settings.

Step 2: Click the Add-Ons tab then scroll to find API Access. Here you can subscribe to the API access at $25/Month.

Permissions

When integrating your Tradovate account with SignalStack, the platform will ask for authorization to access your account with the following requested permissions:

  • Read Only Access
  • Full access including the ability to modify: Orders
